Three-Fold Communion

Three-Fold Communion Sunday, October 2nd following second service Fellowship Hall Soup & Sandwiches for Love Feast Childcare is provided Three Fold communion includes:  Love Feast, Foot Washing and the Bread & Cup.  There is more information below about why the Brethren practice Three-fold Communion.  If you have never participated, you are welcome to observe. Program Director Position Available

We are currently accepting applications for a Program Director of Building Blocks Children’s Center. Building Blocks Children’s Center, an established, VDSS licensed, Christian center, is seeking a Program Director. Building Blocks is a ministry of Mt. Olive Brethren Church. In a Director, we look for committed individuals who have a genuine love for young children and their families, while effectively running all school operations. Responsible for setting the tone for the facility, managing the curriculum, overseeing physical facilities, hiring staff and managing the overall image of the center. Ensure compliance with all local and federal laws governing child care, in regard to the physical environment and the staff, and manage the financial affairs of the child care facility. Paint Night

September 30th and October 28th are Paint Nights at Mt. Olive! Just $35 to paint the picture on the Paint Nite Registration Form while you enjoy refreshments and fellowship. Flowers will be for Sept 30th and Snowman for Oct 28th. Spaces are limited to 35 so please get your registration in early. Registration is by form and payment so make sure that gets in.
