Welcome to Mt. Olive Brethren W.O.M.E.N.! Our ministry name is an acronym standing for “Women’s Outreach: Ministry, Encouragement, Nurture”. What we desire most is to provide avenues through which women can meet to grow in their knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and with one another. This ministry is open to adult women of all ages, and it is our privilege and honor to invite you to join us as we seek more of Him in our lives! We pray that you will find something here to meet your needs, and we hope to see you soon! With much love in Him!
Bible Studies
We hold two sessions of Bible Study each year. Our fall study begins in September and runs through the first of December and our Winter Study runs January through early April.
We hold two groups on Wednesdays. A 9:30 am group and a 6:45 pm group.

ASPIRE Conference - October
Coming October 8th, 2022, we will host our third Aspire Conference! We had an awesome time last year with over 300 ladies gathered from many area churches, to hear God’s Word, worship and laugh/cry!

Spring Events
We will be going to the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville to see For King & Country in 2022! You can view their tour and see video clips by clicking “Go” below.

Bible Studies
WINTER STUDY Beginning January
Morning (9:30 am) & Evening (6:45 pm
Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho.
And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel.
Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory—months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable.
Every serious believer longs to summon up the kind of boldness and faith that can stand firm on Mount Carmel and pray down heaven into impossible situations. Yet few are willing to go through the process required to get them there. Strength of faith, character, and boldness can only be shaped in the hidden fires of silence, sameness, solitude, and adversity. Those who patiently wait on God in the darkness emerge with their holy loyalty cemented, their courage emblazoned, and their confident belief in Him set afire.
Join Priscilla Shirer on this 7-session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.
